Summary About the Position:
This position is with the Fort Huachuca/DCIPS Civilian Personnel Advisory Center, duty location Fort Belvoir responsible for performing operational assignments to advise on the full range of staffing requirements for assigned organizations.

To qualify at the GS-11 grade level:
Your resume must describe at least one (1) year of experience at the GS-09 grade level, or equivalent, which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Specialized experience is defined as experience assisting higher graded employees with applying Federal Civilian Personnel Human Resources principles, laws, regulations, and practices in Staffing, Recruitment and Placement, such as:
using special recruiting authorities and strategies to assist management with hiring actions; analyzing, evaluating, and recommending resolutions to Civilian Personnel Human Resources problems and issues; and using automated Human Resources software programs to perform staffing duties (ie, USA Staffing, DCPDS, FASCLASS, etc.
).
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (GS-09).
OR Successful completion of a Ph.
D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:
Business Administration or Human Resources Management.

OR A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12.
Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18.
Add the two percentages.

To qualify at the GS-12 grade level:

For the GS-12 grade level, there is no substitution of education allowed for the specialized experience.
This position involves a multi-grade career ladder.
The major duties listed represent the full performance level of GS-12.
At the GS-11 grade level, the employee will progressively acquire the background necessary to perform at the full performance level of GS-12.
Promotion is at the discretion of the supervisor and is contingent upon satisfactory performance, availability of higher level work, and availability of funds.
Promotion is not guaranteed and no promise of promotion is implied.
Time in Grade Requirement for the GS-11 grade level:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
Time in Grade Requirement for the GS-12 grade level:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
