Land Mobile Radio Engineer - Intermediate

Job Description The LMR engineer assists the Government in developing the LMR Communications, Management, Testing, Key management and Maintenance and Disaster Recovery plans.
Provide input on cost estimates, budgets, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes as well as enterprise level operational directives, policies, and contingency plans for subordinate installations relating to Tower and LMR management.
Additionally, they maintain and update LMR as-built documentation, technical drawings and diagrams.
Required Skills/Certifications/Clearance:
Associates/Technical Degree in related field is equivalent to 1 year of experience; BS/BA in related field is equivalent to 2 years of experience.
Active military service can be substituted for experience, and is dependent on length of service and Military Occupational Specialty.
Two (2) to five (5) years of experience providing support to collaborative computing implementation, troubleshooting, and network maintenance support Clearance:
Yes/Secret required to start employment/Non-Critical Sensitive Level 2 position Harris Corporation P25 IP Radio Programming and Maintenance Training and experience on Harris or Client radios (Required).

Candidate must possess the following certifications in order to meet the DoD Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Information Assurance (IA) Requirement:
Applicant must have and maintain at least one of the following Information Assurance (IA) certifications prior to beginning employment:
CompTIA, Security
ce (Desired) CISCO, Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA-Security) GIAC, Security Essentials Certification:
(GSEC) ISC2, System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) Higher certifications that meet IAT III requirements are also acceptable.
(Must be approved and verified by management.
) Must also have at least one of the following Computing Environment (CE) certifications Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Windows Server 2012 Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Server Infrastructure Approved training may suffice for actual certification.
