Designs and develops instructional approaches and interactive courseware to meet training requirements for govt client, Defense Acquisition University:
Classroom course development including Review course content for coverage of learning objectives.
Develop matrix which traces the flow down of learning objectives to course content to assessment vehicle.
Review, assess and provide recommendations on assessment strategy
Assist course manager in the development of assessment vehicles and associated rubrics.
Observe instructor and student pilots, provide recommendations for course improvements.
Assist in incorporating recommended changes which have been approved by the course manager.
Support the preparation, update and delivery of all instructional support materials such as Plans of Instruction (POIs) and Instructor Support Packages.
Assist course manager in development and/or revisions of course materials to include appearance, layout, graphics, DAU branding and incorporating Section 508 compliance requirements
Online course development in learning content management system based on client design specifications using Composica.
Masters Degree in Instructional Design or a related discipline preferred; Bachelors Degree Required
8-10 years of related instructional development experience.
Work to be performed at Fort Belvoir, VA. Some flexibility for telecommuting may be available. Must have excellent written and oral skills and must work well in high tempo environment that is deadline driven. Will be working closely with the client and subject matter experts.
