Assists with trouble shooting and administration of existing network systems. Troubleshoots basic network problems. Performs routine tests of assigned system and reports on results. Monitors the network and reports system failures. Performs installations of assigned network components. Coordinates complex technical support troubles, leads moderately complex program system upgrades, and scheduled enterprise wide network outages. Monitors the networks and reports network failures and degradations to technical control centers and program leadership. Creates network access accounts for program technicians requiring core network access. Analyze and report network throughput and bandwidth availability. Manage network and satellite access for various data communication systems. Develop and disseminate operational briefings for senior leadership. Maintain Remedy relational databases for communication systems information and network IPs.

Network Operation Control or Help Desk Experience Remedy Must Obtain Security
certification within 6 months of start date if not held or current. Must be willing to submit to and pass a polygraph if not held or active. Must be able to perform shift work: 2 Month on Days: 0600 - 1400 2 Month on Swing: 1400 - 2200 2 Month on Mids: 2200 - 0600 Periodic weekend duty required
