We are searching for a onsite technical writer at Ft. Belvoir, VA. This technical Writer will work with the project team under the direction of the Project Manager to create custom documentation using Quickbase and other report writers .

REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE
3 or more years previous experience in a federal government agency using MS Word and other tools such as Quickbase to develop requirements that include PWS?s, SOW?s and SOO?s.
This person will also be able to assist the contracting office to track requirements to award
Also responsible for uploading market research and Prepare SOW?s
3 or more years previous experience with technical writing is a federal government setting
Strong computer & technical writing skills required.
Excellent communication, presentation & customer relation skills.
Well-developed proficiency in product offering
Able to make basic material understandable for beginners and complex material interesting for advanced users.
The ability to develop/strengthen strong working relationships with a wide range of customer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the Project Team on the customer site, to provide quality writing services .
Reporting of any discrepancies and successes at assignment site.
Research, resolve, and respond to customer questions received while on site.
Able to provide Business analysis and Writing training to large and small customer groups.
Create Statements of Work and provide Writing Services including Report Specifications, instructions, and definitions documentation.
Timely submission of expense and assignment reporting related materials.
Assist in troubleshooting Crystal Reports and customer support queries.
Provide timely status reports Project Manager and the customer when required.
Follows workplace operating and environmental, health and safety procedures and guidelines.
Complies with and provides input to enhance current report writing methodologies, templates, processes and operational procedures.

EDUCATION
Minimum 4 year college diploma in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
1 to 3 years experience in a similar technical and/or training capacity.
Quickbase experience

COMPENSATION: Full time and Contract positions available and earnings will be determined by experience level.
