MD Consulting, LLC, a government contractor providing services to Department of Army, is seeking a temporary full-time qualified, Physician Assistant to perform services on the client site in Ft. Belvoir, VA. Work will be performed at Ft. Belvoir Community Hospital, Emergency Medicine, Chronic Pain Medical Unit.
Essential Duties:
The contract physician assistant shall work independently but works collaboratively with the physician in the management of complex medical problems and coordinate patient flow in the Chronic Pain Unit.
The contract physician assistant will examine all eligible military healthcare system beneficiaries to render a medical assessment of their condition, and to take appropriate action.
Knowledgeable with all concepts of the Fort Belvoir Hospital Chronic Pain such as Fast Track, Template Charting, Admission criteria, Hospital Capabilities/Operations, Hospital Manuals/SOP's, and EMS Base Station Control.
Refer patient complaints and or dissatisfied patients to the MTF Patient Representative Office or the Department Chief or Head Nurse of the Emergency Department.
Refer patients to their Primary Care Physician for follow-up care and/or to educate patients on better health care continuity.
Ensure quality of care issues are documented and reported to appropriate personnel and corrective action is taken.
Identify, evaluate, and initiate appropriate treatment to stabilize patients presenting to the emergency department withEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
