Responsibilities:
Job Summary
Performs in a leadership role in managing General Officer/Senior Executive Service level office--coordinate daily events scheduling of senior officials to attend meetings at the Secretary of the Army, Chief of Staff of the Army, and Assistant Secretary of the Army Level. Represents the Program Executive Officer (PEO) Soldier by welcoming visitors, reviewing correspondence; and other functions; answering questions and meeting requests directed to the PEO. Perform Executive Officer functions in their absence--ensuring all higher level engagements, higher headquarters meetings and conferences are properly represented by senior staff members, as well as staff directors or their representatives. Provides guidance and direction to other administrative personnel in the organization, ensuring all administrative activities are understood and carried out in accordance with organizational standards and practices including correspondence with Headquarters Army. Prepares a variety of documents, such as: correspondence, forms, reports, statistical tables, spreadsheets, etc., using advanced skills and knowledge of multiple software packages. Advises writers and researchers in matters of style, syntax, and usage to improve the general quality and effectiveness of communications. Shows discretion and initiative in the preparation of special reports under general guidance. Coordinates frequent travel of senior level officials including worldwide trip planning, individual itineraries and logistics arrangements, and meeting accommodations. Facilitates communication within all levels of the organization which requires good interpersonal skills, and knowledge of programs and practices of four diverse project management offices--initiates lines of communication with outside agencies to accomplish the mission.
An active DoD clearance is required.

Qualifications:
Good oral and written communication skills and analytical capabilities required. Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and Outlook.

Qualifications:
Requires two (2) years of college with courses in business administration, industrial management, or appropriate discipline, and six (6) years progressive experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Good oral and written communication skills and analytical capabilities required.
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required.
Work Environment:
Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task. An inside environment may be a cubicle (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting). Outside work may include various environmental conditions including warm and cold climates. Needs to be able to work well with co-workers and all levels of management. No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions. Office is located off site at: Fort Belvoir, VA.
Equipment and Machines:
Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools as required.
Attendance:
Work hours are normally 8 hours per day and 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important, but not critical, except for deadlines and meetings. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.

Essential Functions:
Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must be flexible and able to address quick shifts and change in priorities. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and from customer's locations and the test fields may be required to support projects. This may involve airline travel. In some cases, accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
