Work involves planning and programming to ensure timely phased allocation and acquisition of funds, analyzing a variety of unique conditions to support development of annual operation of organizational and functional areas budget and accounts, and program assessments to delineate effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity . Work is turbulent due to the fast pace of the medical environment.
Work affects the operating processes that support the organization s budget programs, decisions made by serviced activity or program managers, short and long term planning and program goals, distribution of goods, and/or delivery of services; based upon the adequacy of financial documents reflecting accurate financial position of fund accounts, budget, and appropriations. Provides relevant advice to all levels of management, especially on the impact of availability of resources, and impact to long term goals.
