Senior Linux Administrator with Security Clearance
Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIESo Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Linux workstations, VMs, and supporting software.
o Configure and maintain enterprise Linux administration tools such as Identity Management (IdM), Satellite, and Ansible Tower servers.
Harden systems against vulnerabilities and threats using automated tools in accordance with DISA STIGs.
Proactively recommend and implement performance and reliability improvements to systems and independently develop solutions to problems.
Train junior systems administrators and help desk technicians in best practices and day-to-day operations.
Assist in the documentation of knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures, and work instructions as neededREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSo Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility Active IAT level II Certification Proficient with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
Familiarity with enterprise management of Linux systems.
10-12 years of work experience Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Attention to detail.
Strong oral and written communication skillsDESIRED QUALIFICATIONSo Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
