Our Client is looking for results oriented/self-motivated Desktop Support technician to support our team in Fort Belvoir, VAThe Desktop Technician will provide onsite support and maintenance for users within the desktop computing environmentSupport includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation perform. Must have a minimum of TS/SCI eligibility Must have minimum of Sec+CE Highlights of
Responsibilities:
o Provides technical support for system users.o Designs, analyzes, and maintains highly complex enterprise infrastructure environmentso Troubleshoots, assesses, and analyzes infrastructure components to resolve reported malfunctions.o Organize training session for staff on the usage of new software/ applications and hardwareo Carryout diagnosis and repair of network-related problemso Bring up-to-date and preserve computer inventory and surplus equipmento Make sure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with various systemso Preserve passwords, data integrity and file system security for the computing environmento Vouch for and implement upgrades on systems to guarantee longevityo Ascertain and repair hardware and network connectivity issueso Support for technical upgrading and maintaining of entire desktop systemso Assist in testing and deployment of new applications and systemso Maintain an excellent level of customer service, ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in appropriate mannero Maintain outstanding verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate seamlessly with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organizationo Resolve issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent solutionso Accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system and any other duties as assigned by the company.Requirements:
o Clearance Required:
US Department of Defense (DOD) issued Top Secret clearance with SCI.o Strong customer service orientation.o Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.o Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.o Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.o Ability to conduct research into PC and software issues and products as required.o Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.o Highly self-motivated and directed.o Keen attention to detail.o Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.Required Education and

5 or more years of professional experience supporting PC hardware and software systems.o Required Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent, including consideration of vendor certification in the technology being applied such as Microsoft MCP or Novell CNEo Certification:
