Environmental Compliance Specialist
Fibertek is looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill a Compliance Specialist position supporting the US Army's world class research and development programs at Fort Belvoir, VA.
You must have 3-5 years experience and understand Environmental Compliance requirements.
Duties include:
Examining, evaluating, and investigating conformity with laws and regulations, applicability and compliance of licenses and permits, and other compliance and enforcement activities.
This is a full time, permanent position and Fibertek offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Successful candidate must have or must be able to acquire certifications (e.
g.
Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)/hazardous waste handling) and safety training (e.
g.
CPR certification) within 6 months of being hired.
