Palo Alto Firewall Administrator with Security Clearance

Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and deploy Enclave Boundary Defense systems and programs including firewall, proxy server and other devices and applications to all DTRA enclaves.
Plan and deploy De-Militarized Zones (DMZs) for each DTRA NTS managed firewall Verify devices are configured in accordance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) Product lifecycle management and upgrades to include installation of hotfixes, patches, and any other features to improve product performance Maintain all current applicable firewall and proxy appliance policies to include DoD, DISA, and DTRA Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a secure and effective means of remote access Provide assistance to DTRA Operations, Engineering, and System Administration personnel in maintaining the firewall rule sets and provide advice on impact of requested changes to the firewall rules on the network and compliance with applicable DoD and DTRA policy Review and resolve automated firewall log issues as to threats or possible compromises Provide daily maintenance and support for all DTRA Enterprise Boundary Defense systems including monitoring system and log files Review and resolve automated firewall log issues as to threats or possible compromises Notify appropriate DTRA Information Operations personnel of possible threats or systems vulnerabilities Respond appropriately to reported or identified incidents in accordance with the DTRA Information Operations Incident Response (IR) plan Respond to incidents as directed in the IR plans and provides investigative and forensic assistance REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 5-10 years IT experience with a minimum of 3-5 years of Palo Alto firewall experience; Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator certification highly preferred Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Hold and maintain an active DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT II Experience with Active Directory, certificate management, and Wireshark Overview We are seeking a Palo Alto Firewall Administrator to support our Prime Contract at Fort Belvoir, VA.
