Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Senior Software Systems Engineer to join our Mission Solutions team!In this mostly remote opportunity ( 95% work-from-home) you will get to join the Army PEO IEW&S Sensor CE/ISA support team.
The work will entail software requirement specification, architecture design, transient data model definition and mapping, software test case development, technical documentation production, detailed review of program artifacts, participation in internal technical discussions and representation of the customer in external technical meetings.
The work is in support of the development of the Integrated Sensor Architecture (ISA), a cutting-edge solution designed to achieve interoperable exchange of sensor data in a tactical domain.
What You'll Be Doing:
Gathering stakeholder needs and generating corresponding software-level requirements for use in implementation and testing of ISA Architecturally designing ISA capabilities and capturing design in DoDAF views and UML diagrams Defining ISA transient data model enhancements needed for new capabilities and specifying mapping between this data model and other transient data models Developing test cases for verifying implementation of ISA requirements Producing artifacts such as formal external documents, informal internal papers and slide decks that capture results of work Performing in-depth evaluation of internal and external technical documentation and recording detailed comments based on evaluation Collaborating with internal implementation and testing teams to ensure understanding and coverage of requirements and architectural designs Responsibly and professionally representing customer in program reviews, planning discussions and technical interchange meetings Effectively maintaining a professional demeanor What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher At a minimum, a BS degree with eight (8) years of relevant experience Significant experience creating software-level requirements and architectural designs Significant experience designing solutions for austere network environments Experience working with transient data models Ability to excel as a member of a collaborative team through open communication, transparency, and flexibility in U.

Salary Range:
$92,200.
00 - $161,400.
