Overview:
The Logistics Strategy and Integration Consultant will provide multi-faceted support to the DLA Energy Strategic Policy and Program Directorate (SPPD) by advising and assisting the Government as the subject matter expert (SME) in global energy logistics management, energy acquisition, efficiency management, auditing, and process improvement to support the SPPD offices in its efforts to establish more efficient and effective energy supply chains across the DoD.
The Logistics Strategy and Integration Consultant will work onsite/remote at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in Fort Belvoir, VA.

Requirements:
Assist with DLA Energys knowledge management program to maintain content, ensure visibility and accessibility of supply chain training opportunities across all DLA Energy Supply Chains.
Assist in developing Supply Chain Training for DLA Energy personnel, including the following activities:
Review lesson plans; Coordinate/schedule meetings with petroleum stakeholders; and, record meetings and track progress to plan/milestones.
Communicate with internal and external clients through formal and informal meetings, written reports, informal training, and oral presentations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, solutions-oriented environment, and formulate and provide actionable recommendations to the Agencys senior leaders for increasing success of key programs.
Possess the ability to work in teams and independently.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university is required.
May substitute 10 years of experience for Bachelors degree.
Demonstrated experience in designing and developing computer-based training modules, 5 years minimum.
Demonstrated experience in analyzing petroleum logistics support for emergency, contingency and wartime operations, 5 years minimum.
Demonstrated experience in implementing policies, processes, procedures.
Demonstrated experience/ understanding of the DOD training environment.
Demonstrated understanding of all energy commodities utilized in both commercial and DoD operations.
Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Available for occasional travel.
This position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, for which you must be a US citizen.
Current DoD Secret clearance desirable.
