Responsibilities:
The NRO is looking for an experienced Project Manager (PM) to help plan, develop, and deliver, Information Technology (IT) solutions to meet the enterprise IT requirements and its' operational mission needs.
The Project Manager will oversee experienced professionals and often lead one, or more projects in support of the IT infrastructure.
Plans, conducts, and supervises projects generally involving large complex initiatives, or multiple projects.
Evaluates and recommends changes in policies, methods, or procedures in assigned area of responsibility.
Responsible for the performance of important projects or a definable portion of a larger program in accordance with government requirements.
May direct and supervise integrated project team activities and manage the direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
Advises on all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
Interfaces with all stakeholders including end users, service providers, and client leadership.
May assist to define project scope and objectives, develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and provide status briefings/reports.
Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
Provides analytical guidance and recommends solutions to problems.
Other responsibilities of this position may include, but is not limited to:
Providing consulting, and administrative oversight support for projects.
Acting as an adviser to the government.
Providing battle rhythm administrative functions.
Supporting requirements, scope and change management including the Request for Change (RFC) process and related approval boards.
Supporting planning, communication, and coordination of activities with various teams Developing logistical and other documents as needed.
Providing expertise and knowledge in the areas of Project Management.
Qualifications:
Required:
TS/SCI w CI Poly.

years of experience with Project Management/ System Engineering role of similar scope ((8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PHD).
Bachelors degree in science or math, or related field.
Knowledge of all aspects of project management.
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).

Preferred:
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
ITIL v3 or 4 certification.
Experience as a technical advisor.
Knowledge of the NRO.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
