Local The Principal Heads-up Display Engineer will apply knowledge of various ruggedized Soldier Borne heads-up display technologies and how to design and test performance characteristics to inform trade studies in the support of product development.
The engineer will also be cognizant of the wearable hardware and software image and data processing technologies necessary to support the Heads-up Display systems and associated tactical network/radio interfaces.
The engineer will assist Army C5ISR Center, Army Program acquisition offices and vendors in optimizing, integrating, and testing Heads-up Display solutions for the Warfighter.
The engineer will apply best engineering practices in all phases of the development process.
This is a potential hybrid remote opportunity.

Qualifications:
Minimum of BS in Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar Minimum of 10 years of experience in the development, test, and evaluation of Heads up Display HW and SW solutions.
Solid understanding of Heads-up Display technologies, especially involving holographic waveguides Solid understanding of HW and SW image and data processing techniques, especially with regard to near zero latency Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities to meet deadlines Exhibits strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Self-starter dedicated to continual improvement Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization Efficient and highly organized, with great attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills, professional presentation, and ability to communicate effectively US citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance or above These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Active Secret Security Clearance or higher.
