Overview:
LMI is seeking a Project Analyst/Scheduler for a US Army client to support integrated master scheduling activities related to the acquisition, development, and implementation of US Army Defense Business Systems.
The Project Scheduler is responsible for establishing and maintaining the master schedule for multiple concurrent software projects and IT service initiatives to include system acquisition, development, testing, and assessment and authorization schedules.
Work location is currently teleworking, eventually hybrid teleworking and client site in Fort Belvoir, VA.

Responsibilities:
Develop and update integrated master schedule (IMS) by incorporating status updates from all program stakeholders to include incorporating schedule information from other workstreams and vendors to ensure program remains on schedule.
Monitor and provide analysis and reports on schedule performance (eg critical path analysis, variance, etc.
).
Interact with project team and task leads to define scope of work to develop and maintain detailed schedules, cost information and identification of variances from original planReview project scope and assist with estimates to produce preliminary schedule(s)Set up tasks and sub tasks to ensure satisfactory realization of project tasks/requirements as scheduled.
Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify emerging problem areasIdentify/monitor critical paths and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-aroundPerform what-if/impact analysis of schedule shifts on tasks and milestonesIdentify risks affecting project cost, schedule and performance and support development of alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedulesProduce schedules visually depicting decision points, milestones, progression and interdependence of the project tasks to provide program and Army leadership with a clear picture of the project scheduleCommunicate project updates and support effective decision making.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree3-5 years' experience in developing, executing, and maintaining Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) following DoD and Army requirements and regulations.
Expert MS Project skillsDemonstrated experience with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience working with stakeholders to identify tasks, critical paths, and dependenciesExperience with Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and managementExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong teamwork and collaboration skillsMust possess and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) CertificationExperience with Defense Business Systems or software/system development projectsExperience with DoD acquisition milestones and requirements.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
