Overview:
LMI is seeking a Front End Developer with strong development experience to be part of a team that is designing and developing complex, enterprise level information systems that will shape the future of how the Army procures technology.
It is anticipated that the majority of the duties for this position will be remote.
However, applicants may be required to occasionally report to Ft.
Belvoir, VA or the Pentagon for client interactions.
Preferred candidates will be located in the Washington DC metro area.
This position requires an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities:
The Front-End Developer will:
Architect technical solutions and develop high-level designs based on business requirements elicited using human centered design (HCD) techniques Write high-quality JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to create an exceptional user experience Design and develop responsive front-end web application interfaces Build efficient and reusable front-end systems and abstractions; Identify, establish, and share user interface design best practices Ensure compliance with web standards and accessibility requirements Own the design of clean user interfaces and development of customer-facing features Convert mockups into standards-compliant front-end code and implement template, CSS, and JavaScript changes Apply DevSecOps principles to continuously deliver high-quality software and shorten the software development lifecycle Participate in design and code reviews, and collaborate with a strong, passionate engineering team Work with UX/UI designers to build a functional front-end with appropriate aesthetics Work with data scientist and back-end engineers to integrate analytics products, such as digital assistants and machine learning models Perform quality assurance and regression testing of web components, including browser compatibility Troubleshoot and fix front-end issues, and find and address performance issues; and Interface with customer stakeholders to provide technical explanations and support.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Active Secret Clearance required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
Degree (Master's preferred) in web design, technology, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related technical discipline Minimum 3 years of experience in front-end application development Ability to analyze and improve the performance of web application interfaces Capable of turning complex concepts into web features with intuitive abstractions and design while reducing complexity Ability to track and address design features, bug fixes, and integrations with limited guidance from others Experience using the Atlassian suite of products, including JIRA, Bamboo, Confluence, FishEye, Crucible, and Bitbucket Comfortable working within cross-functional agile team, developing prototypes and functionality in short development sprints Experience converting mockups built in tools such as Adobe XD, InVision and InDesign into web interfaces Experience developing customer-facing software interfaces Experience working on large-scale applications PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
Development experience within an agile environment Preferred experience with cloud development and architecture using AWS or Microsoft Azure Experience with application performance optimization and tuning best practices Knowledge of application security best practices Experience developing applications using web development frameworks, such as Angular (1.
x/2+), React, and Ember Experience working with server frameworks, such as Node.
js and Express.
js Experience with release planning and tracking and Agile using test driven development, automated testing, and continuous integration environments Knowledge of business functions and business operations, strategies, and objectives Experience using formal ticketing applications such as Atlassian Jira Experience working in a consultant / client environment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
